This guide gets your first AI agent live in under 2 minutes. No technical knowledge required. Follow these four steps and you'll have a working chatbot on your website today.
Step 1 โ Sign up and log in (30 seconds)
Go to chatforge.pro and create your account. It takes 30 seconds โ just an email and password. No credit card needed to start.
Once you're in, you'll land on your dashboard. Click "Create New Agent".
Step 2 โ Name your agent and choose a persona (30 seconds)
Give your agent a name. Something like "Support Bot", "Sales Assistant", or your brand name + "Bot" works perfectly. You can change this any time.
Optionally, choose a welcome message โ this is the first thing visitors see when they open the chat. Keep it friendly and specific:
- โ "Hi! I'm Alex, your ChatForge assistant. How can I help today?"
- โ "Hey! Got a question about our services? Ask me anything."
- โ "Hello." (too vague โ won't encourage engagement)
Step 3 โ Add your website (30 seconds)
Paste your website URL into the field and click "Scrape Website". ChatForge will automatically read your website pages and build your agent's knowledge base from the content it finds.
This usually takes 30โ60 seconds depending on how many pages your site has. You'll see a confirmation once it's done.
Step 4 โ Copy your embed code and go live (30 seconds)
Click "Get Widget Code". You'll see a small snippet of HTML โ it looks something like this:
<script src="https://chatforge.pro/widget.js" data-agent-id="YOUR_ID"></script>
Paste this snippet just before the closing </body> tag on your website. If you're using WordPress, use a plugin like Insert Headers and Footers to add it without touching code.
That's it โ your agent is now live. Visit your website and you should see the chat bubble appear in the corner.
What to do next
Your agent is running. Here's what to focus on in the next 48 hours:
- Ask it the 10 most common questions your customers ask
- Note any weak or wrong answers
- Add missing information to the knowledge base
- Set a booking link so visitors can schedule a call
